Who we are

TravelMint (travelmint.co.uk) is a personal finance and travel information site run by Tom and Clare Widdall. We are not a company — this is a personal site operated from abroad. If you have privacy questions, you can reach us via the About page.

What data we collect

Newsletter subscribers. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. This is stored in MailerLite, our email service provider. We use it only to send the TravelMint weekly newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. This collects aggregated, anonymised data about page views and visitor behaviour. No personal data is stored by Vercel Analytics and no cookies are set for analytics purposes.

We do not run advertising, we do not use tracking pixels, and we do not sell data to third parties.

Cookies

TravelMint does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. The site may use functional browser storage (e.g. for form state) but nothing that identifies you or persists beyond your session.

Third-party links

TravelMint contains links to external websites, including affiliate links. Once you leave this site, their privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for the data practices of third-party sites.

Your rights

If you are a newsletter subscriber and wish to have your data removed from MailerLite, you can unsubscribe via the link in any newsletter email or contact us and we will delete your record manually.
